2019 Jeep Cherokee Repair

The first Jeep Cherokee rolled off the assembly line in 1974. It was introduced as the two-door version of the Wagoneer and targeted an audience that enjoyed the outdoors but had outgrown the smaller and less practical CJ Series.

Fifty years later, the Jeep Cherokee is still one of the most popular vehicles on the road.

It is no surprise when this Jeep Cherokee repair arrived to our shop, the owner was particular about a quality job that would restore the exterior to its original factory condition.

We performed the standard check of structural elements and made a note of damage to the front bumper cover and hood. It appeared that the damage was strictly cosmetic, but we always verify those assumptions with a thorough inspection.

Replacing the hood was a fairly simple process. We placed an order for the new piece, removed the old hood, and installed the new one.

The front bumper cover replacement was slightly more complicated. This area houses the airbag crash sensors. In addition, the parking assist sensors and adaptive cruise control sensors are inside.

Furthermore, the radiator and cooling component and headlight assemblies can be impacted when the front bumper cover is damaged. We ensured this was not the case and continued on.

Finally, this Jeep Cherokee repair faced a full system inspection and panel alignment testing. Once everything was in place and properly tested we returned it to the road for more adventures.
