2023 Chevy Traverse

The Chevy Traverse is a slick three-row SUV that debuted in 2009. It provides ample cargo space and is able to two up to 5,000 lbs. when properly equipped, making it a versatile family-friendly favorite that is both powerful and comfortable.

When this 2023 Chevy Traverse repair arrived at our shop, we anticipated some internal damage. As we do with every vehicle, a thorough initial inspection was conducted. We documented the vehicle’s condition, took photos from every angle, and look for leaks and structural instability. Thankfully, damage from the collision was only cosmetic.

After performing a comprehensive mechanical systems check to determine what basic functions had been effected, and doing a detailed damage assessment, we were ready to create a repair plan. We prepared a parts list for the insurance company which we were able to get approved quickly and move into the repair stage.

The front of the vehicle took the brunt of the impact. It required a new bumper and grille, as well as a new front end camera. This is a key component of the modern Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Without it, lane departure and collision warnings do not work, and the automatic braking system would not function properly.

We replaced the left headlamp and fender next. In addition, the drivers side door needed to be replaced.

Lastly, a new hood was installed and the vehicle was looking like new. The real test would be if it would drive like new.

After a thorough inspection and test drive, we concluded this repair was complete. We gave it a wash and called the owner who was happy to hear our job was done.
